Master class on implantation of the AVEIR VR pacemaker

Last week, the team of the Heart Center held a master class on implantation of the leadless pacemaker AVEIR VR. This device helps to track abnormalities in the heartbeat and eliminate threatening arrhythmias.

Specialists performed 3 procedures on implantation of a pacemaker in patients who experienced an electrical pulse failure in the atria of the heart and in conducting an impulse from the atria to the ventricles of the heart. This device is implanted in a minimally invasive method by inserting a catheter through the femoral vein. The procedure contributes to a rapid rehabilitation and improvement of patients' well-being.
