Letter of appreciation to Mr. Shigeo Katsu, President of NU

Oh behalf of the clinics of the University Medical Center, we would like to express our sincere gratitude to Mr. Shigeo Katsu, President of Nazarbayev University, for his contribution to not only the prosperity of the University, but also in the formation of the new generation of inspired young minds.

During the past 13 years Mr. Katsu and his team managed to advance the education system in Kazakhstan to the international level. NU graduates are competitive in the global labor market; they constantly initiate creative and innovative projects, generate local employment, and continue their professional growth.

Being a part of the scientific community, our clinics work closely with the research centers of the University; our joint research projects allow us to develop new methods of treating various diseases and improving the health of the population in the future. In addition to developing the academic agenda, Mr. Katsu paid great attention to improving the country's healthcare system together with UMC, and continues to support our clinics.

It was a great honor for us to work as a team, and we believe that the close connections that we created during the years of collaboration will be continued and will remain as a strong foundation for our further achievements. We are proud to be a part of the Nazarbayev University system and cooperate in the development of medical education and healthcare of the country.

The UMC team sincerely wishes Mr. Shigeo Katsu good health, inspiration for new projects and success in future endeavors!
