Doctors of the Heart Center conducted a master class on respiratory support

Recently, a Respiratory Support School was opened at the Heart Center, where the clinic's specialists conduct an educational cycle on the basics of artificial lung ventilation for anesthesiologists and resuscitators. The training includes theory on the basics of respiratory mechanics, physiology of the respiratory system, as well as practical work with artificial lung ventilation devices, mode settings and correction of respiratory failure disorders in patients.

So, from March 9 to 11, Head of the Department of Anesthesiology and resuscitation (adult) of the Heart Center Ivan Vakhrushev and anesthesiologist Bekaydar Zhakupbekov held the first visiting master class on the topic “Respiratory therapy. Features of artificial lung ventilation” for medical specialists of the Abai region.

“At the initiative of the Department of Healthcare of the Abai region, we conducted a master class using an expert-class ventilator for practice. During the training, the participants were introduced to the details of working with graphical monitoring, the specifics of selecting individual ventilation parameters and performing ventilation in patients with severe lung diseases,” - shared Ivan Vakhrushev.

20 medical specialists took part in the training. During the master class, students were able to ask questions of interest, gain new knowledge and learn the skills of conducting respiratory support.
