The main value of the Unit is represented by a team of specialists, which consists of more than 30 people. The experienced, attentive and friendly staff is always ready to help you and your child. The coordinated work of a team of highly specialized doctors (cardiologists, cardiac surgeons, rehabilitologists) allows us to develop rehabilitation programs using the latest technologies and taking into account the individual characteristics of each child, so that our little patients return to an active lifestyle as soon as possible.
The main directions of the Unit's work:
- early rehabilitation of children after surgical correction of congenital and acquired heart defects;
- preparation of patients for the next stage of surgical correction in the presence of complex congenital heart defects requiring multi-stage intervention;
- rehabilitation of children in the late postoperative period. Our main partners in the center are the Pediatric Cardiac Surgery Unit, Pediatric Intensive Care Unit, Interventional Cardiology Unit and Physiotherapy Unit.
